Slightly melted screen

I Had my phone on the bathroom counter and my flat iron was on. The two were not even in that close of proximity but when I pick up my phone later I see the screen is a strange texture and has these little multicolored dots along it. I was wondering if there is anything I can do myself to fix this or do I have to take my phone to apple support?
